why the white?

when i am frustrated with a painting, i often basically just start over. i pull out the white paint and cover about 90% of what i have started. sometimes this happens more than once on a canvas. usually, those become my favorite pieces.

it was time to pull out the white paint.

i love what i have shown you over the past years. i’m not hiding any of that at all.

i just love a new canvas with and old sole.

so new white. feels right.
