but that's a good thing for you.

i’m a thinker and an over painter. and that is all i want to be.

i paint permission to believe in jesus’ love, just maybe not the church version.

i paint permission to risk and believe in yourself.

and i paint the unexpected beautiful moments in life we find while chasing fall down, crazy stupid love.

but for the platform pulpits of instayou, facetube and the tacky clock, i’m out.

i spend sleepless nights trying to make work that matters.

i think i do a decent job of that. i’d like to do even better.

on the grams, the work does not matter.

i spend more time juxtaposing schematic ways to show authenticity, show behind the scenes, show the work, sell the work, make you feel something and let you know what’s happening at the barn.

and the work suffers.

and most importantly, i suffer.

so, i’m out.
